Is my information safe and who has access to it?

Only Market Research Mob has direct access to your profile. When a client or focus group company requests leads from us, they only receive your name and contact number. They will then pre-qualify you for the focus group with a list of questions that match your profile and the clients criteria.

How do I know that the focus group is legitimate?

There are only three (3) ways you will be contacted for a focus group study: Email, Phone, or Text. In any case, you will evetually speak with a recruiter in your local area. Should you qualify, the recruiter will inform you with the location and telephone number of the facility hosting the focus group.

How does Market Research Mob make money?

Statistically, a user will view the website page(s) multiple times and refer atleast 2 other users. We understand that selling google "adsense" or using pop up ads in every space available will turn users off. Therefore, Mr.Mob decided to dedicate only 25 non-intrusive spaces (8% of site space) to advertising. We have 5 Sponsor Ads, 5 Images, and 15 Links available.

Please contact advertising@mrmob.com for pricing.

(1) Our service is always FREE to Market Research Mob members. (2) We charge focus group companies a fee to contact our database members. (3) We sell banner space, image links, and hyper links on our site to help absorb marketing costs.

Our request: Please join Mr.Mob and visit our Sponsors so we can keep the site free of google "adsense" and pop up ads.

Can I have more than 1 profile?

We do not recommend having more than 1 profile. Even though you may think you have better odds at qualifying for a focus group, you may be, in fact, reducing your chances. For example, let's say you have have two differnet profiles showing: (1st) you are single and on the other (2nd) you are married. When a recruiter calls you, you do not know what profile they have requested, so when they ask you what is your marital status, you may disqualify yourself by giving the wrong answer. We request you be honest with your profile.

We also review our database for duplicate or similiar records on a daily basis.

What if I go to a meeting and I get sent home without participating in the focus group?

Focus groups overbook in case of cancellations or no shows. Sometimes you may show up at a focus group and be sent home. The good thing is that you still get paid for attending and you are not considered a group participant.

FYI: If the above happens and you are asked by a recruiter if you have attended a focus group recently, say "No" to the question.

How do I get paid and when?

You will recieve cash or a check after you attend your focus group.

It has been awhile since I joined MrMob and I haven't been contacted for any focus groups?

We cannot promise that you will be contacted at all. There could be many reaons why you haven't been called by a recruiter. The most obvious reasons are: Your profile does not fit the current project criteria or there are no current focus groups in your area. Please be assured, we try our best to get you pre-qualified for focus group studies.
